Frequently Asked Questions
How is it different from a knee brace?
A traditional knee brace wraps around the entire joint and compresses the whole knee. It can restrict movement, trap heat, and doesn’t necessarily target where support is actually needed. The VERLO Patellar Strap applies targeted pressure just below the kneecap, around the patellar tendon, helping to redistribute pressure where it matters most.
I’ve already tried knee braces and sleeves. Nothing worked. Why would this be any different?
Because those products may not have been targeting the right area. Knee sleeves compress the entire knee, while larger braces support the whole joint. Neither provides the same focused support directly below the kneecap. VERLO is designed to target that specific area, without wrapping or restricting your entire knee.
It looks really small. Is it actually effective?
We hear this a lot, and we understand why. But bigger doesn’t always mean better. What matters is where the support is applied. VERLO is deliberately compact because it’s designed to provide targeted support in one specific area rather than covering the whole knee.
Will it fit my knee?
Yes. The adjustable Velcro strap is designed to suit a wide range of leg shapes and sizes, whether you have slimmer, athletic or larger legs. There’s no complicated sizing chart — simply wrap it around your leg, adjust the fit and you’re ready to go.
Will it slip during exercise?
It’s designed to stay securely in place while you move. The silicone pad helps grip against the skin, while the adjustable strap keeps everything comfortably fitted. Whether you’re walking, training or spending an active day on your feet, it’s made to stay where you put it.
Can I wear it all day?
Yes. The lightweight, breathable design is made for extended wear and everyday movement. You can wear it with shorts, under trousers or with sportswear without the bulk of a full knee brace.
How do I know if I’m wearing it correctly?
It only takes three steps. Find your kneecap, position the silicone pad roughly two fingers below it, then tighten the strap until it feels secure and comfortable — not excessively tight. It takes around 10 seconds to put on. You can also follow our step-by-step fitting guide.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
You’re covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. If VERLO isn’t right for you, simply contact us within 30 days and you can return it for a full refund.
How do returns and refunds work?
It’s simple. You have 30 days to return your VERLO Patellar Strap for a full refund. Just contact our customer service team and we’ll guide you through the return process.

I honestly didn’t expect much because I’ve already tried several knee sleeves. Took VERLO out for a 6-mile walk and my knee felt much more supported than usual. I had it slightly too tight at first, but once I loosened it a little it was very comfortable.
I’m 64 and I’ve struggled with my left knee for years. Full knee braces always felt bulky and hot. This is much smaller, takes seconds to put on and gives me support exactly where I need it.
Used it for a 40-mile bike ride at the weekend. It stayed in place the whole time and I pretty much forgot I was wearing it. Much less bulky than the knee support I used before.
I bought this mainly for walking downhill, which is normally when my knee bothers me most. I was genuinely surprised by how much more comfortable it felt. Simple little product but it makes a noticeable difference for me.
Good support and very easy to adjust. The first time I wore it I tightened it too much. Once I repositioned it just below the kneecap and loosened it slightly, it felt much better.
I work on my feet for most of the day and by the afternoon my knee usually feels tired. I’ve been wearing VERLO at work for the past couple of weeks and it gives me that extra bit of support without restricting my movement.
Was sceptical when I opened the box because it looked too small to do much. After wearing it on a long walk, I understood the idea. It supports one specific area instead of squeezing my whole knee.
I use mine for gardening, walking the dog and longer days out. It’s lightweight enough that I don’t really think about it once it’s on. Definitely prefer this to a full knee sleeve.
Stairs were the main reason I ordered it. I still take things carefully, but my knee feels noticeably more supported going up and down. It also stays in place much better than I expected.
Took me a couple of tries to find the right position, but once I did it was very comfortable. The trick for me was not overtightening it. I’ve now worn it on several walks and I’m pleased with it.
